How to Use the Chronicle Diary:

  • Each section is preceded by an example page to give you ideas on how you can use that section. These examples come from a variety of TTRPG systems.

  • Fill out your character’s profile & the consent checklist.

  • Start your adventure! Use the diary pages to write notes and track sessions.

  • Track your items, stats, and more with the various trackers throughout the diary.

  • Decorate your journal with washi tape, stickers, stamps, sketches, and printouts. It’s your Chronicle Diary, it can be whatever works best for you!

Pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, and stamping ink work great in The Chronicle Diary. However, some alcohol ink-based markers (such as Prismacolor and Copic) and Sharpies can bleed through pages. If you are unsure if your pens/markers will bleed through the page, please test them before use.

Notes:

The Hardcover version of the Chronicle Diary is printed on cream or white paper and is an 8.5" x 5.5" hardcover case laminate. This is a print-on-demand product. Copies will be printed, then shipped once your order has been completed. Printable PDF copies can be purchased exclusively through DriveThruRPG.

Various game companies and storytellers have created consent checklists for storytellers and players to use in their games. It can be a very useful tool to help avoid conflicts and players wanting to leave a game due to the content.
